June 2019 Selection Video

Ok so here’s the deal…I’ve been missing sketching a lot. I used to do it almost every day but I fell off the wagon. So in an effort to get sketching back into my life, I’m going to be doing an activity called #circlerd.

The Rules:

  • Each sketch must be crafted into a circle shape.

  • The subject will be one thing (e.g. apple, elephant, airplane).

  • I need to do 3 sketches a week for a total of 12 sketches per month.

Where You Come In:

I want you to provide subjects. What would you like to see me sketch in a circle composition? Again, it has to be one thing. It can’t be a velociraptor riding a shark that’s shooting laser beams out of its eyes as cool as that is. Nothing vulgar or inappropriate either.

How You Submit Your Subject Request:

  • Fill out the form below.

  • Reach out to me on LinkedIn

  • Reach out to me on Facebook

  • Tweet it and tag me @spyderman8888 with the hashtag #circlerd

What you need to include when you submit your subject request:

  1. Your name

  2. Your subject for the sketch

  3. A charity

At the end of each month, I’ll put all of the subjects into a hat and randomly select one. If the subject you submitted is selected, I’ll donate $25 to the charity you indicated with your submission.

After I complete the sketch, I’ll craft it into a finished digital drawing and post the result on my website and social media. I have some subjects picked out to get me started but jump in on this. It will be fun!
